Kurt started training in Krav Maga in Sydney back in 2002 with the International Krav Maga Federation.

In 2007 Kurt completed his Krav Maga instructor training (IKMF) under the instruction of Master Eyal Yanilov and became Sydney's full time instructor for the Krav Maga Training Academy (KMTA).

Since April 2009 Kurt has been heading Assertive Action Krav Maga (AAKM) which is a new organisation formed in the Western Suburbs of Sydney. In 2010, Kurt was appointed Director of the International Krav Maga Federation of Australia.

Kurt continues to train with the best in Krav Maga including Eyal Yanilov, Gabi Noah, Avi Moyal, Ze'ev Cohen, Amnon Darsa & many others locally and in Israel.

Kurt has been training in martial arts since he was around 10 years old with ranks in systems such as TKD, Karate, Jeet Kune Do & other forms. He has also been involved in Kickboxing & Muay Thai training under the legendary Paul 'Pitbull' Grima.

Kevin has been training in Krav Maga for 3 years and is the Assistant Instructor for AAKM.

Kevin is responsible for teaching all beginner students in our school. 

Kevin started Krav Maga in 2007 back when Kurt was teaching for the Krav Maga Training Academy (IKMF) and then later progressed to the new school.

Kevin has a passion for Krav Maga and is a great teacher. His dedication and commitment has allowed him to go far within a short period of time. 

In April 2010 Kevin completed his Assistant Instructor Certification with Amnon Darsa (Expert 5) in Western Australia.
